…is a choreopoem that follows four queer, black men trying to grieve the end of their boyhood. When their support group begins to transform the real world, they must dare to fly to find freedom.

Script Phase – WTBBA is The Theater Offensive’s first commissioned play, inspired by the poetry of Marvin K. White, Murray developed the work to create a theatrical epicenter of community and storytelling for queer, black men. We have seen what doors can be opened before with Ntozake Shange’s for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf. The form not only allows for the poetry to translate into a story, but also elevates the text visually.

…follows a young journalist wanting to make her big break, when her mentor ends up a hollow shell of who she used to be, the journalist investigates the mentor’s last known whereabouts: The Nostalgia Project, a futuristic program designed to bring people back in to reexperience their most formative memories. In Festivals Near You – Rose-Tinted Nostalgia premiered at the 2025 Kids in the Spotlight Film Awards. Since, it has gone on to be selected in a number of festivals, making it unavailable to be shared online. The film set its world premiere at Dances With Films LA at the TCL Chinese Theatres. In Festivals Near You – A Movie Named Sucka premiered at the 2024 Kids in the Spotlight Film Awards. There it won: Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Ensemble Cast. Since, it has gone on to be selected in the Pan African Film Festival, Festival of Cinema NYC, and Urban 360 Fest Orlando. …follows an anonymous account exposing college student’s sex lives, but only the black students. When one student is accused of being the owner because of his online presence as a proud trans man, he must find who is really responsible to keep his scholarship at the school. (Showcase Video Runtime ~ 13:28).

Script Phase – PC Anonymous was the script that got Murray into the Disruptors TV Writing Fellowship back in 2024. At the end of the fellowship, Murray had not only developed a half-hour pilot, but also got to showcase the first 10 pages to an audience of industry professionals. The staged performance was directed by Katrelle Kindred. Murray decided to release the video for public consumption on YouTube.

…follows a black girl at a PWI who has trouble finding her people until she gets Fairy God Brothers who help her along the way. (Runtime ~ 19:28)

…follows Casey, an up-and-coming actress, deals with a break-up while trying to navigate a new city where she can’t be sure of anyone’s intentions. (Runtime ~ 09:12)

Completed – Co-written between Jameson P. Murray & Cameron Andrews, the two desired to create a piece of art combining their two distinct directing styles. The film starts in a psychological thriller that disintegrates into a relationship drama. The entirety of development, pre-production, and production occurred during Boston University’s Los Angeles semester program as a collaboration fostered between BU, NYU, and Columbia College Chicago students finishing their “abroad”.

…is a sketch show, akin to SNL and In Living Color, formed by the “sinister six” for the Senior Theatre Arts Majors Productions (aka S.T.A.M.P).

Completed – Made in Boston University’s School of Theatre, with collaborators branching in every college across the school, the series ran for four consecutive weeks with packed audiences, musical guests, and new sketches filmed and performed every week. On every Saturday night in 354, it was Going Down.

…follows a young woman, Barb, who arrives back at her childhood home after a break-up, only to find that her brother has transformed the house into a space for artists… an Art House.

Completed – Made at Boston University in collaboration between the School of Theatre and College of Communications Film & TV Department. The sitcom crossed writers, actors, production teams, and had them come together to make film’s most theatrical modality: sitcom TV. “Keeping the audience in the laughing mood between takes was the job of Art House writer, warmup comedian and hype man Jameson Murray (CFA’23).” Check out the full BU Today article that explains the story and process behind the production.
